I believe in the empowerment of women. I also believe that, despite living in the 21st century, there are still many gender inequalities in Guatemala. Today, thousands of Guatemalans must continually fight for equal treatment, greater security, and better opportunities for growth. In the business world, although having to live with a lack of equity, women have proven their worth time and time again, and are today a great engine for the economy of Guatemala. Since my childhood, when I was impressed by the efforts and work of women I saw who continually fought for their rights, I have always believed in the important role women play in our country.
At the age of 14, I moved from Guatemala to Spain to complete my basic and pre-university studies. As a young adult, I became very interested in the world of business and real estate. In the area where I lived, real estate was booming, and I started my career as a real estate consultant at EUROCASA in Fuerteventura Canary Islands. I later worked for CENTURY 21, where I found my true passion for real estate and began to fully understand the importance of excellent customer service.
After working for eight years in Spain, I returned to Guatemala. I worked for three years as a freelance real estate consultant before deciding that I wanted to start my own company, in order to be able to put into practice all the knowledge and experience I had gained during the previous years. That company, VALE REAL ESTATE CONSULTING, has been a successful venture for four years. Through my company, I strive to continue to process of empowering women while providing my clients with the most attentive customer service available.
